The End Of A Continuation

As the last few minutes of 2011 approach, happen and fade into the past, I thought I would spend it constructing a couple of sentences to wish everyone out there, both real and those of you who just think you're real, a very happy and prosperous new year.

I'm currently at work, so grabbing a moment or two on the computer whilst waiting for the mix of fireworks and alcohol to go (quite literally in some cases) tits up and require my presence for some analgesia, a stern reproach and, if necessary, a sympathetic wince.

Stay safe, friendoids, and may your future continue to occur!

Happy New year

The Jules

  2. Australia is some ways ahead of you Jules.. (Shh, dont tell the poms) the fireworks have already gone off, the burns victims have already attended their nearest hospital, the Ambos have already scraped up the worst of the drunks and everyone's home, heads pounding, pockets empty and wondering why, Oh why they dared venture out on this of all days.. Have a good one mate!

  5. One man's party is another man's night shift. I hope you managed a small toast to the new one yourself after getting back home.

GB - Certainly did. With a mug of Earl Grey and a jammy dodger because that is the method of my rolling . Innit.

  7. A stern reproach can almost be fun, given the right analgesia. But then so can everything. Happy New Year, Jules, to you and yours. May your being real, and entertaining, tits up, down, or perpendicular to the tarmac, continue to occur...

  8. Jeaux - That's very true. I'll try and continue keeping it real, with a little help from my griffin and these floating lobstets. Should be pretty easy.

  10. esbboston - Don't worry, I think they're having another one in about 363 days. Or there's always the Chinese one soon if you feel like you've missed out!

  11. What on earth is a lobstet? Snack sized lobsters? a "stet" that one lobs around as part of a game? A small child that got badly sunburned?

I had to look up Jammy Dodgers too, and now I'm hungry. Thanks for that, but I still wish you a great 2012 and nothing but hilarious & easy calls.
